About the Gear You Will Need

Personal Gear

To complete this course the only gear you will need to purchase is gear personal to you - a mask, fins, snorkel, boots and surface marker buoy (SMB).  When you purchase your personal gear it will be fit to you - and may not be adequate for use by another diver.  While renting personal gear on a snorkeling trip may be passable, there are too many variables, diver to diver, to make renting personal gear effective for an underwater adventure.

And, as we are teaching this course through an extension of Eugene Skin Divers Supply and because you are our students, the shop has offered discounted packages for personal gear if you are taking a course with us.  Be sure to let them know that you are one of our student divers.  They will take great care of you!

Shop Provided Gear

All the other gear you will need to complete the course and get certified will be furnished to you as part of the overall fee for the course -- no extra charges!
